PIN

Always shield the keypad with your hand or purse whenever entering your PIN.

Remember that your PIN belongs to you and you alone. Never reveal it to anyone else. Only a criminal would ever ask you for your PIN! If possible, memorise your PIN and then destroy the letter in which it came.

Never write down your PIN on your card or keep it in the same place with your card. Also never keep your PIN in a location where it could be easily associated with your card, such as your purse, mobile phone or car.

If you do write your PIN down, write it in such a form that no one besides you can identify it – not even a family member. If you forget your PIN, you can ask your bank to send it to you again. Your bank may charge a fee for this service.

Your PIN will never be printed out on the transaction receipt.

If you have any problems related to your PIN, please contact your bank.
